General Info:
The 2012 Camp Guardian camp session will be held June 10-15 at Babler Outdoor Education Center (OEC), within Babler State Park, near Wildwood, MO. The following link provides useful info on Babler OEC; to include a map of its main buildings and facilities, and a cabin floor-plan:

Babler State Park Camping Info (For Volunteers Bringing RV's)
The Babler SP campground (located approximately 2-3 miles from Babler OEC, where Camp Guardian will be held) offers 73, reservable campsites (30 Basic & 43 Electric). Reservations can be made by calling 1-877-422-6766, or clicking on the below link. Prices range from $13-$23/day. The campground contains a bath house, toilets, water and a dump station.

What to Bring
- Bedding: Sleeping bag (or twin sheets & blanket) + pillow
- Towels and washcloths
- Beach towel
- Sleepwear
- Laundry soap & small laundry bag
- Toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, shaving supplies, hairbrush, comb, etc).
- Medications and medical equipment/supplies (Please ensure all medications are in original, pharmacy-labeled containers).
- T-Shirts, shirts & blouses (comfortable, loose-fitting & modest)
- Jeans & shorts
- Swim-suits/swimming trunks
- Undearwear & socks
- Comfortable athletic shoes &/or sandals + shower shoes
- Rain jacket or poncho + small umbrella (optional)
- Light jacket, sweatshirt, sweatpants
- Lanyard (to use with nametag that will be assigned to you at Camp Guardian check-in). Note: Please bring a lanyard if you checked the "YES" box on your Volunteer app. If your checked "NO" on the app, one will be be provided.
- Camera
- Flashlight
- Hat & sunglasses
- Sunscreen & lip balm
- Water bottle
- Costumes and clothing for nightly dances
- Small cooling fan
- Alarm clock
- Cooler
- Portable camp chair
- Snacks & refreshments
What NOT to Bring
Expensive jewelry; large sums of money; immodest clothing; t-shirts with inappropriate wording or slogans; weapons (guns, knives, etc.); fireworks. This is not a comprehensive list; please just use a little common sense and exercise your best judgement. THANKS!
